Salwa Zeidan Gallery, in collaboration with Dalloul Artist Collective, joins the seventh edition of Art Cairo with a curated presentation of artists whose practices engage abstraction, minimalism, and concept-driven approaches within contemporary art.
Presented as a joint curatorial initiative between the two platforms, the exhibition brings together a selected group of artists represented by both galleries, united under a shared artistic vision.
The works on view span painting and sculpture, reflecting a diversity of practices and cultural contexts bound by a common sensitivity to material, memory, and human presence. The paintings move fluidly between abstraction and symbolic expression, with a pronounced emphasis on surface, color, and visual rhythm.
Together, the exhibition reflects a shared curatorial philosophy; one that values artistic integrity, cross-cultural dialogue, and meaningful engagement between artwork, space, and viewer.
Featuring: Ahmed Farid, Bassant Kordy, Fawzi Baalbaki, Juhayda Bitar, Maher Al Rawi, Rose Husseiny, Serwan Baran, Yasmina Alexandra Nysten, Yervant Hawarian, and Mahmoud El Duwihi.
