Celebrating Beirut Art Days at DAC

Public Reception for The Escape to Joy Exhibition

As part of Beirut Art Days, the Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) hosted a vibrant public reception in honor of The Escape to Joy, the ongoing solo exhibition by Lebanese artist Fawzi Baalbaki, curated by Ayman and Said Baalbaki.

Held at DAC’s newly inaugurated space in the Stone Garden Building, the evening welcomed a dynamic cross-section of the cultural community, from artists and gallerists to journalists, art enthusiasts, and longtime supporters of the Baalbaki family. Guests gathered to experience the exhibition in a more intimate, celebratory atmosphere, with works that speak to themes of memory, resistance, and light.

The reception marked DAC’s first public event within its new curatorial program and served as a powerful moment of connection and visibility for the collective during Art Days. With flowing drinks, generous bites, and the hum of thoughtful conversation, the evening reinforced DAC’s mission to create space for collaboration, care, and long-term artistic growth in the region.
