A Defining Conversation on the Future of Artist Representation

Led by Dr. Basel Dalloul in partnership with Agenda Culturel

On July 11, 2025, the Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) welcomed an intimate yet powerful gathering of artists, curators, cultural leaders, and collectors for a pivotal conversation on the evolving role of art and artist representation in the Arab world. Hosted in collaboration with Agenda Culturel, the event marked a moment of visibility, alignment, and shared vision.

Dr. Basel Dalloul, founder of DAC, offered a candid and forward-looking address, outlining the collective’s mission to build artist-centered infrastructure, foster long-term development, and reimagine how care, collaboration, and strategic support can shape the region’s cultural future.

The evening sparked meaningful dialogue around artist autonomy, cultural sustainability, and the potential of DAC’s new model, drawing notable voices from across the field who came not just to listen, but to engage, respond, and contribute.

As DAC opens its doors at the Stone Garden Project in Downtown Beirut, this event signaled not only a launch but a beginning and an invitation to reimagine the terms of art, support, and community across the region.
