The Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) is pleased to announce Rewind, a solo exhibition by Yervant Hawarian, opening on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the DAC Art Space, Stone Garden Building, Marfa, Beirut.
Presented in collaboration with the Ramzi and Saeda Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF), the exhibition revisits Lebanon’s golden age of cinema through Hawarian’s hand-painted movie posters, recreated and reimagined as collectible works of art.
Between the 1950s and 1990s, these posters animated Beirut’s streets and shaped the visual identity of a nation. In Rewind, Hawarian revives this heritage through bold compositions and vibrant color, transforming once-ephemeral images into enduring cultural artefacts.
In parallel, DAC will host a series of panel discussions exploring the intersections of art, design, and memory within Lebanon’s cinematic and visual history.
Rewind will be on view from November 14, 2025 to January 3, 2026, Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
All works shown will be available for acquisition through DAC, with additional pieces from the series presented digitally for private viewing and selection.
