THE DALLOUL ARTIST COLLECTIVE (DAC) IS A FORWARD-THINKING MODEL FOR ARTIST REPRESENTATION THAT IS BUILT TO SERVE THE PRACTICE, PACE, AND VISION OF EACH ARTIST IT SUPPORTS.
FOUNDED BY DR. BASEL DALLOUL IN 2025, DAC OFFERS MORE THAN VISIBILITY. IT PROVIDES THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A LASTING CAREER: REPRESENTATION, ADVOCACY, ARCHIVING, STRATEGIC PLANNING, AND MEANINGFUL CURATORIAL ENGAGEMENT.
EVERY PARTNERSHIP AT DAC IS SHAPED BY DIALOGUE, TRUST, AND LONG-TERM COMMITMENT. HERE, ARTISTS DO NOT FIT INTO A SYSTEM. THEY HELP SHAPE IT.
AT ITS CORE, DAC EXISTS TO CULTIVATE ARTISTIC GROWTH WITH CLARITY, CARE, AND CONVICTION.

  • The DAC Method

    The DAC Method

DAC works closely with a growing network of artists, each brought into the collective through relationships grounded in mutual respect, mentorship, and alignment of values. New members are identified and guided by existing artists, ensuring the collective grows organically and intentionally.

Once part of DAC, each artist receives individualized support, from strategic planning and institutional matchmaking to archiving, contractual guidance, and long-term legacy work.

Every artistic path is different. DAC’s structure adapts accordingly. It is built on trust, long-term commitment, and the understanding that artists are best supported by those who have walked the road themselves.

  • The DAC Model

    The DAC Model

DAC operates on a long-term, service-based model built to grow with the artist.

Rather than relying on sales or fixed programming, DAC functions as a dedicated partner managing pricing and negotiation, coordinating exhibitions and partnerships, and maintaining rigorous documentation of each artist’s work. Every relationship is supported by clear terms, shared planning, and full transparency.

The model is scalable, professional, and responsive. Artists retain creative autonomy while gaining access to the structural tools needed to build a lasting career: archiving, rights management, estate planning, merchandising, and more.

This system is designed to support the entire arc of an artist’s practice, from early development to long-term legacy. It does not focus only on moments of market visibility but on the full span of an artist’s creative and professional life.

  • The DAC Values

At DAC we believe that artists deserve more than fragmented support and flat-fee arrangements. Our model is built on strategic partnership, not transactional exchange.
Unlike traditional systems where revenue is extracted from sales commissions alone, DAC's approach is multi-dimensional and transparent. We represent our artists globally, supporting them across every facet of their professional journey, from exhibitions and sales to estate planning, publishing, rights management, and beyond. In return, DAC shares in the value we help generate, with each arrangement documented and tailored to context. Our structure is designed to reinforce, not dilute, artistic autonomy. Artists retain control over their creative and professional direction, while DAC provides the infrastructure and advocacy needed to grow careers with confidence. Whether working with galleries, institutions, or directly with collectors, we ensure alignment between all parties and consistency in pricing, presentation, and promotion. Importantly, DAC also invests in long-term impact: digital presence, merchandising, authentication systems, cataloguing, and artist archives. These are not afterthoughts. They are part of how we secure legacy, protect value, and build resilient artistic futures. We do not follow a one-size-fits-all model. We build a framework that works for artists, with institutions, and across time.
  • The DAC and DAF Vision: From Collection to Collective

The DAC and DAF Vision: From Collection to Collective

The Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF) is a prominent cultural institution known for its commitment to the preservation and promotion of Arab modern and contemporary art. With a focus on research, documentation, and public access, DAF has established itself as a cornerstone in the field.

DAC and DAF share a vision founded on long-term investment in Arab art. While each operates independently, their collaborative relationship allows them to build on one another’s strengths, bridging legacy and practice, scholarship and creative growth.

Through this shared ethos, DAC continues the work of supporting artists in real time, while remaining connected to the broader cultural landscape from which it emerged.

  • The DAC Framework

    The DAC Framework

The Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) operates as a structured platform for visual artists, designed to support, represent, and elevate their practice across time.

Rather than centering around a fixed space or seasonal calendar, DAC builds a professional framework around each artist’s individual trajectory. From pricing strategy and rights management to archiving, estate planning, and legacy-building, every aspect of our work is shaped by the needs of the practice itself.

This framework allows for depth, flexibility, and continuity. Artists define the direction. We provide the infrastructure to carry it forward with intention, transparency, and care.

  • The DAC Founder: A Message

The Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) was born out of a clear and urgent need. For decades, I’ve heard artists describe feeling unrepresented, misunderstood, or sidelined by the very systems designed to support them. Traditional models often prioritize markets over makers, leaving artists to navigate an increasingly complex landscape alone. I believed there had to be another way.
DAC emerged as a direct response to these structural imbalances. It's not a copy of what exists. It's a reimagining built from the ground up with artists in mind. In form, function, and philosophy, DAC is designed to serve: transparently, professionally, and always in partnership with the artist.
This initiative isn't based on abstraction or theory. It's shaped by my dual experience as a collector deeply invested in Arab art, and as a systems builder with decades of work across technology, infrastructure, and institutional planning. At the Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF), we built a robust framework for research, digitization, and public access. That work revealed what it takes to build cultural value, and preserve it.
With DAC, we’re applying those lessons to support artists actively shaping our present. The systems we've built, such as archival tools, contract workflows, IP planning, and strategic visibility, exist not for prestige, but for practice. They’re here to lighten the administrative burden and widen the path forward.
This isn't about personal visibility. It's a professional commitment designed to last, evolve, and respond to what artists truly need.
If you’re an artist, you don’t need to navigate this world alone.
We’re here to clear the path, while you lead the way.
